One of Rattigan’s best known plays tells the story of Hester Collier.  She has failed in an attempt to commit suicide by gassing herself. Some time before this Hester had left her husband Sir William Collyer, a respectable High Court judge, for Freddie Page, a semi-alcoholic former RAF pilot. Set in the post war period, this emotionally charged performance will have you on the edge of your seat.
